Admissions Specialist - High School Course Sales

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary objective of the Admissions Specialist for the High School Course Sales department is that it is a sales position.  The goal of this department is to partner with school districts and private schools to help meet a variety of their students’ needs.  The primary mission is to work with school districts and schools to ensure that every student be given the opportunity to earn their own schools high school diploma or provide diploma completion option to students withdrawing from High School and to follow up with school once enrollment is complete. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work as a team as well as independently and constructively to research new potential school partnership opportunities. Leads may be provided to work from and/or candidate will need to create their own leads in CRM.
  • Make outbound calls to the DMC’s and sell individual high school credits for the purpose of summer school, credit recovery, drop-out recovery, acceleration, Advanced Placement, career electives, full diploma, drop out retrieval, and diploma completion programs.
  • May also be required to call colleges in order to establish partnerships to assist students seeking NCAA eligibility.
  • Facilitate the enrollment process to individuals.
  • Represent Penn Foster in a professional manner and according to policies and procedures.
  • Meet monthly sales and performance goals.
  • Provide accurate and complete school/course information to the prospective student and DMC.
  • Enter orders
  • Handle all call in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transfer student calls to correct departments.
  • Probe for information to qualify prospective students for enrollments.
  • Perform other tasks are requested.

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: B2B sales experience is helpful
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Working knowledge of Microsoft CRM helpful
  • This is a relationship building sales position and excellent attendance is a must.
